Well, in the future, the planets change. They are renamed, and therefore their attributes are realigned. Here I'll help you create your characters. (You can also contact Amaya and ask her to retrieve her Greek Mythlogy Encyclopedia for usage of character creation.)
Hermes is now what used to be Mercury. Hermes was the god of thieves and intellegence. He was also the messenger of the gods. Therefore, Sailorhermes should be agile, extremely smart, and maybe a thief. You know, steals from stores, etc. Could be interesting. I would recommend either the sign Virgo or Gemini.
Gemini's strong point is adaptable, and its weak point is superficial, so that would be a thief pretty much. Gemini is flexible, versatile, restless, a jack-of-all-trades, lively, alert, quick-witted, literary, communicative, a good conversationalist, changeable, sociable, logical, ingenious, agile, dexterous, intellectual, and mentally ambitious.
Virgo's strong point is detailed, and its weak point is being a critic. Virgos are practical, responsible, sensible, logical, analytical, highly discriminating, a careful planner, precise and punctual, dedicated, perfectionist, critical, health conscious, and somewhat introverted.
I would strongly recommend a Gemini, however, its your choice betwen the two.
The planet Aphrodite is now what we used to call Venus. Aphrodite is beautiful, and the goddess of love. Her element or attribute would be love or something. I would make her seductive, sexy, and maybe selfish. Maybe a spoiled rich girl. She would either be a Taurus or Libra.
Taurus's strongest point is being stable, and its greatest fault is being stubborn. Taurus's are determined, efficient, stubborn, cautious, placid, persistent, enduring, introverted, conservative, conventional, materialistic, security conscious, stable, industrious, dependable, and one generally having significant financial ability.
Libras are diplomatic and their fault is that they're hesitant. Libras are idealistic, a peacemaker, diplomatic, refined, poised, gracious, kind, courteous, fair-minded, sociable, charming, artistically creative, affable, cooperative, extroverted, and usually somewhat indecisive.
You could make her elegant and kind, or beautiful and selfish or whatever.
Ares is now what we called Mars. Ares is the god of war, and so I would think that your soldier would have a type of weapon. For the element, I would suggest either fire or metal. For the sign, go with Aries. Aries are energetic, but their fault is being impulsive. Aries are energetic, innovative, original, pioneering, assertive, quick-tempered, strong drive, leader, ambitious, extroverted, sometimes aggressive, competitive, enthusiastic, self-reliant, and self-assured. I'd make her a movie star or something, or maybe another priestess.
Gaea is the Blue Star, or what is left of the shattered Earth. Only half of the moon can see it. It has a big chunk of it ripped off and it looks like a crescent moon, only with water and some green land. Gaea was Mother Earth, so I'd make her element wood or healing. Her sign doesn't really matter, but I'd probably make her a Leo or something, since none of the zodiac signs have Earth as their ruling planet.
Those're all the available soldiers. If you want a bad guy, I'm recommend any of these names: Cerium, Praseodymium, Neodymium, Promethium, or any other elemnts on the periodic table under the lanthanum series.
